The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development’s Commonwealth Corporation partnered with the
Federal Reserve Bank of Boston’s New England Public Policy Center to produce and disseminate new labor market supply and demand data.
- Robert Clifford, a policy analyst from the New England Public Policy Center, presented demographic and employment trends, as well as data on the post-secondary degrees granted by institutions in that region. - The events inspired lively discussion around solving the supply and demand gap. The summits were attended by staff from community colleges, workforce boards, career centers, elected officials, business leaders, and numerous stakeholders striving to close the skills gap.
Eight regional labor market data reports were released at regional events around the state.
